My headcanon for Arthur ’s horses: 🐎🐎 Since his first horse name was Boadicea, the warrior queen of Celts and character of Avalon Cycle by Marion Zimmer Bradley, I decided all Arthur’s horses have to be named after a character from Arthurian legends.
You know Arthur isn’t a great reader, so all names are suggested by Hosea who is always happy when the cowboy goes to him and asks “look at this beauty, how should I name it?”. Arthur doesn’t always care from where Hosea gets all these names, he just likes them, nods at his mentor and says: “mh, it’s ok. It suits it, I guess”
So we have Percival, brave and pure of heart. A very good boy.

Morgan like MORGAN like MORGAN LE FAY
Course Rockstar could have been like “hehe morgan is a horse and arthur likes horses” and didn’t intend for the meaning to be drawn back to Arthurian legend but considering the depth of shit they put into this game, I can’t help but wonder now…
Excuse me while I round up every horse I can and name them after knights of the round table.
I’m absolutely sure that rockstar did it on purpose. Just think about Sean calling him “King Arthur” or Jack reading books about the knights of roung table. That’s also why I LOVE using names from Arthurian cycle for his horses.
