The Arcana Characters as oriental dancers: Asra

what a beautiful design!! and the pose? ahh gorgeous gorgeous! (to second mads, i wouldn’t use the phrase “oriental” either for anything but it’s still a lovely design)

I want to thank you kindly for your comment, I’m very happy you like my art! For the pose I took inspiration from a picture of Rachid Alexander, I really love him. 

and about the phrase “oriental” I choose it because the first concept was to redraw Julian as a bellydancer (plot twist: I’m a bellydancer, I studied bellydance for 10 years) , but then I wanted to add all the characters and when I was on Nadia’s design I figure it as a bollywood style, so the title “bellydance” started to sound reductive and I thought “oriental” as a broader term. But if you have a better word to suggest me I would be very grateful. :)
